Empowering Santa Barbara Educators

The Santa Barbara Teachers Association (SBTA) consists of over 800 plus
members from the elementary and secondary school district.

Our mission is to improve the working conditions for all teachers in Santa
Barbara and to ensure that the contract is being upheld.

Teachers have opportunities to attend workshops to update skills and become
more politically aware. SBTA maintains a collaborative relationship with Santa
Barbara School District, working together for improving the education of
